Lillian Highfill’s 80th birthday party at Carnegie’s Restaurant-
On October 24th, Lillian, her family and friends celebrated her 80th
birthday at the old Carnegie Library in downtown Ballard. She had nearly sixty people in
attendance. This location seemed to be the best choice for such an event. It was a familiar
location and Lillian remembered this library as a young girl. The food and atmosphere set
the stage for a lovely event that was enjoyed by all that attended. It was great to have a
sit down dinner where everyone could relax and enjoy the moment for dear Lillian. Thanks to
the owners of the restaurant Jerry and Susan and their great staff and the beautiful flowers
from the Ballard Blossom Shop – those special touches that helped make it a memorable evening.
Thanks to you who attended. Lillian was glad that you were there.
